Elevator Company seeking a full time Truck Driver/Shop Laborer.
We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities Include:
• Transporting materials and tools to and from jobsites, vendors and warehouses
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions at various locations
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Pick and load tools and materials to be transported to jobsites
• Unload material and tools returning to the warehouse and put them in designated areas to keep warehouse neat and orderly

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs routinely
• Experience with electronic equipment and software (Mainly GPS, cell phone)
• Ability to work long/early hours when necessary and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
