Propane Service Technician

Primary Responsibilities
• Deliver, set and install propane tanks
• Perform propane tank surveys
• Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit requirements
• Convert gas appliances from Natural gas to LP-Gas
• Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment
• Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks
• Assist in repairs and installations to customers' heating and air conditioning equipment
• Assist in performing annual maintenance/efficiency tune-ups
• Assist in installing oil equipment and tanks
• Must be responsible for Company truck, tools and inventory
• Work effectively with Service Technician and support team
• Ensure timely and safe performance of service calls
• Perform administrative duties related to service calls in a timely manner
• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers on a daily basis while ensuring environmental compliance on every call
• Other duties as assigned

Education or Professional Certification/License Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred certifications:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat & Tanker endorsements
Gas Pipe Fitter
CETP / Propane Certification
Gastite Certificate
TracPipe Certificate
