Large Equipment Rental Company with 4 locations throughout the valley has an immediate opening at both its Gilbert and Central Phoenix branches for a Driver to deliver principally Tables, Chairs and other party rental stuff to both commercial and residential customers. A big part of your deliveries are for Party Rentals making deliveries in a 16 foot Stake bed or 24 ft. Box truck (tables, chairs, tents, dance floors, heaters pop corn makers, etc.) but you will also at times be delivering equipment so the ideal candidate will also be able to make deliveries of various equipment pulling a trailer also.

The successful candidate will have a good driving record, a DOT Medical Card (easily obtained for $35) and at least 1 year commercial driving experience making deliveries with 16 or 24 ft box, stakebed, flatbed or Box Trucks and someone who has a year experience pulling a trailer is "Preferred" but not required (your personal boat or recreational vehicles on a trailer can count here as long as you are proficient at pulling it).

We also prefer someone with good longevity at jobs and having party rental prior experience is a big plus also. Individuals who are not" professional drivers per se" but have a year or more experience driving a big pick-up pulling a TRAILER with equipment, etc. on it in the construction or landscaping industries will be considered including people with lots of experience pulling boats or other recreational vehicles on a trailer. Mechanically inclined individuals can also excel in our Equipment dept.

YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK "MOST" SATURDAYS but you do get two days off (Sunday & 1 other day). This job will start at $14.00 per hr for most applicants (some exceptions are made for people with exceptional experience or who have CDL driving experience), you also get to keep any tips you may receive for exceptional customer service when making deliveries (not to be expected but sometimes can be as large as $20.00).

Also, the BEST part about this job is that is a "career job" and you get 3 REVIEWS/RAISES in your first year (13 months). Good delivery drivers as well as mechanically inclined and hard working people with good customer service skills do VERY WELL at this company.

A criminal background will be performed in addition to a DRUG TEST prior to employment.
NO Felonies and No DUI'S in last 7 years permitted for any of our jobs.
