The job duty for Warehouse Supervisor is to develop strategies and objectives to maximize productivity and leverage expenses. Warehouse Supervisor must recognize trends, solve problems and motivate & develop warehouse associates in order to maximize contribution to the warehouse success - typically manages through department Supervisors to achieve results from a large number of hourly associates.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for:
1. Inbound Operations (Unloading and Receiving)
2. Warehouse Operations (Pick & Pack)
3. Outbound Operations (Loading)
4. Transportation Coordination (Carrier availability)
5. Office Operations (Admin Associates)

Essential Tasks
1. Oversee daily operations to ensure the warehouse meets defined service levels
2. Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels
3. Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure quality standards are met
4. Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
5. Ensure safe working conditions
6. Lead in creating an environment for continuous improvement to drive efficiencies
7. Provide direction and assistance in the solution of problems with employees
8. Communicate policy and procedures with employees as directed by management

Physical Demands
Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.

Qualifications
1. High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
2. Professional Experience. Minimum of 5 years of general warehouse experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
3. Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
4. Experience dealing with all level of management and resolving customer and employee issues.
5. Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, Email)
6. Knowledge of EDI system is preferred
7. Bi-lingual Required (English and Spanish)
8. Forklift Certification
